Most people take one sourdough class, go home with a jar of starter and a shaky first loaf, and quietly give up by week two. This series is built so that doesn’t happen. Hosted by Jordan Davis of mooon BREAD, The Daily Loaf takes you from your first starter to a confident, repeatable bake over three weeks, with real baking at home in between and expert eyes on your results each time you come back. You’ll learn the craft in Jordan’s kitchen, with mountain views and the smell of fresh bread, from a baker who built his business from scratch. It’s hands-on, practical and delicious. It’s for people who want sourdough to become a habit, not a one-time experiment.
Session 1: The First Loaf (3 hours). You start with the payoff. You create your own starter, mix your dough and bake together, then sit down to fresh bread. You leave with your starter and dough for two more loaves, so the learning continues at home. This session can be booked on its own.
Session 2: The Home Bake Clinic (2.5 hours). You bring the loaf you baked at home during the week. Jordan reads your crumb, crust and rise, and you troubleshoot hydration, timing, shaping and scoring side by side. This is the session that separates people who tried sourdough once from people who bake it every week.
Session 3: Beyond the Country Loaf, with sourdough pizza (2.5 hours). Jordan is joined by Jaron and Kenny, and you work through flavored loaves and sourdough pizza from fermented dough to the final bake. You finish with a bake-and-taste table, a personal baking plan and a loaf you made yourself.

Sourdough only clicks when you can see your own dough change. A single class gives you a recipe. This series gives you a feedback loop: bake, observe, adjust, repeat. We begin with the exciting part (your own starter and a warm loaf) and teach fermentation, hydration and shaping while your hands are in the dough. Because you bake at home between sessions and bring your results back, Jordan can correct the exact problems you’re having, not generic ones. You’ll leave with the intuition to bake without a recipe card.

Jordan Davis is the founder of mooon BREAD. He taught himself the classic method of flour, water and salt, built a bread business from scratch and now teaches it. He’s known for a relatable, science-friendly style that takes the intimidation out of sourdough. Guests highlight his clear explanations and his generosity with his starter. For Session 3 he’s joined by Jaron and Kenny, who bring their pizza making expertise forward.
