When the pavement ends, you are your own pit crew. The Overland Navigator is an intensive after-hours workshop series inside the service bays of North America’s top Triumph dealer. Built for adventure riders, weekend dual-sport explorers, and backcountry tourers, this four-part evening immersion puts serious trail-readiness tools directly in your hands. You won’t be listening to dry classroom survival lectures—you’ll be working across an elite adventure fleet, from the rugged Royal Enfield Himalayan and mid-weight Triumph Tiger to the high-performance Ducati DesertX. Alongside seasoned factory-trained master technicians who ride the trails themselves, you will master emergency tire demounting, terrain-specific electronic mapping, cockpit weight distribution, and vital field diagnostics. Strictly capped at six seats, it is real-world trail confidence forged on the shop floor.
Session 1: Emergency Field Demounting & Rim Repair
We throw you straight into the most feared backcountry scenario: a stranded flat miles from cell service. Using trail hand tools and portable bead breakers, you will demount heavy off-road tires, patch heavy-duty tubes, plug tubeless knobbies, and true spoked rims on dedicated stands. Learn the muscle memory of lever bite so you never pinch a fresh tube on the trail.
Session 2: Dynamic Cockpit Rigging & Standing Ergonomics
Off-road control requires flawless physical harmony with your machine. Working across Tiger and Himalayan platforms, you will blueprint standing rider ergonomics—dialing in bar risers, folding mirrors, and pivoting footpegs. Next, rig technical modular luggage systems to calculate payload center of gravity, preventing high-speed sand weaves and frame fatigue over harsh terrain.
Session 3: Terrain Telemetry & Throttle-by-Wire Calibration
Modern ADV beasts rely on complex digital brains. In this session, plug into the diagnostic suites of the Ducati DesertX and Triumph Tiger to configure custom off-road riding modes. Calibrate throttle response curves, dial rear-wheel slip allowances for loose gravel, and disengage rear ABS systems for steep technical descents without throwing dashboard warnings.
Session 4: Deep Trail Diagnostics & Powertrain Survival
Finish by mastering the mechanical vitals that bring you home. You will service reusable foam air filters for silt survival, bleed boiled hydraulic brake fluid, execute emergency trailside chain breaks and master-link splices, and diagnose charging stator failures. You walk away with deep diagnostic intuition and the raw mechanical grit to conquer remote expeditions with total peace of mind.

Most off-road riding clinics teach you how to stand on the pegs, but leave you completely helpless when a rock punctures your tire bead forty miles into Baja. We believe real backcountry confidence starts by mastering high-stress trailside emergencies first—the complex repairs that leave riders stranded—and tracing those critical fixes directly back to fundamental mechanical physics.
