Curriculum:

We’re flipping the script on traditional lessons by starting with the “Big Finale” and working our way into the mechanics.

Session 1: The Studio Takeover. We start by cranking up the speakers. You and your child will co-create a gallery-sized abstract work inspired by a classical concerto. It’s loud, it’s colorful, and it’s pure creative intuition. We’re building the “vision” before we learn the technique.

Session 2: The Sound Map. That big red streak? That’s a loud, crashing chord. Those blue dots? That’s a bouncy staccato. We look at the canvas and start “hearing” the shapes. We’re decoding the art to build a secret musical map only your child understands.

Session 3: Finding the Keys. Now we take that map to the piano. This is where the magic happens: sight-reading and technique are taught as the “secret codes” needed to bring the painting to life. Your child learns the “how” because they are obsessed with the “why.”

This all-inclusive duo experience (Child + Parent) covers four high-impact 60-minute sessions. Specializing in the 0-6 age group, Amber is an expert at channeling chaotic toddler energy into genuine musical skill. She’s patient, she’s fun, and she’s “here for it” when it comes to the hard work of early development. When you step into her studio, you’re not just getting a teacher; you’re getting a partner in your child’s creative journey.

• Bring your child, a “let’s try it” attitude, and clothes that don’t mind a splash of professional paint. We’ll handle the aprons! No musical background is needed—just a love for creating lasting memories together.

About The Setting

Our residency is hosted in Amber’s light-filled studio, tucked away in the scenic UCR neighborhood of Riverside. It’s a cozy, “shoes-off” sanctuary where kids feel right at home.
